1. Acceptance Of Terms
By accessing or using Calsanova (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description Of Service
Calsanova is a nutrition tracking and performance-coaching platform that serves three provider tiers and the members who hire them:
- Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) — clinical nutrition + therapeutic care; credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Calsanova Coaches (cncc credential) — performance accountability, sport-specific fueling guidance, behavior change. Coaches operate within a defined non-clinical scope of practice and refer clinical matters to RDs.
- Specialist Coaches — Calsanova Coaches who additionally hold a verified external credential (CSCS, NASM-CPT, ACE Health Coach, NBC-HWC, Precision Nutrition L1/L2, ISSN-SNS, CISSN, or ACSM-CPT/EP). Specialist tier adds programming review and periodization expertise on top of Base coach scope.
The Service provides tools for food logging, meal planning, analytics, AI-assisted nutritional insights, coach-member messaging, and marketplace bookings. Provider-side and member-side features differ by role and credential tier.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
3a. Age Requirement — 18 Years Or Older
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. The Service is not intended for use by minors. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the Service only under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from anyone under 13 (see our Privacy Policy for details).
We reserve the right to require date-of-birth verification at signup or at any time during your use of the Service, and to suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is held by a user under the required age.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code or content
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
4a. Zero-Tolerance Policy For Objectionable Content And Abusive Users
Calsanova has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following are strictly prohibited anywhere within the Service, including but not limited to user profiles, food log entries, journal entries, photos, messages with coaches or members, marketplace listings, and reviews:
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content
- Content that depicts, encourages, or glorifies violence, self-harm, or eating disorders
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, intimidation, or content targeting a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability
- Content that promotes illegal activity, including the unauthorized practice of medicine, dietetics, or pharmacy
- Impersonation of another person, including any healthcare professional, dietitian, coach, or staff member
- Spam, phishing, fraudulent commercial solicitation, or pyramid/multi-level marketing recruitment
- Sharing another user’s personally identifiable information or protected health information without their explicit written consent
- Any content that infringes another party’s intellectual property or privacy rights
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove any content that violates these standards and to suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who post such content. Reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior are reviewed within 24 hours of receipt, and content found to violate these terms is removed promptly.
4b. Reporting And Blocking Other Users
The Service provides tools to report objectionable content or abusive behavior and to block other users from contacting you. You can:
- Report any user, message, photo, or post directly from the in-app context menu next to the content
- Block any other user from messaging you, viewing your profile, or interacting with you within the Service
- Email reports to trust@calsanova.com for incidents that cannot be reported in-app, including sensitive matters or law-enforcement coordination
Reports are confidential. We will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the reported user. We commit to reviewing every report within 24 hours, taking appropriate action (content removal, account suspension, account termination, and/or referral to law enforcement where warranted), and notifying the reporter of the outcome where appropriate.
5. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Program Name: Calsanova SMS Notifications
Program Description: By opting in to Calsanova SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from Calsanova related to your account, including phone verification codes, account security alerts, appointment reminders, and nutrition tracking notifications.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on your usage of the platform, appointment schedule, and notification preferences.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages from Calsanova unless you re-subscribe.

Supported Carriers:T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Calsanova. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Medical Disclaimer
Calsanova is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The nutritional information, AI-generated insights, and meal plans provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet.
6a. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, And Refunds
Calsanova offers an auto-renewable subscription product, the Calsanova Membership, available for purchase through the Apple App Store on iOS devices. By purchasing a Calsanova Membership, you agree to the following:
- Price: .99 USD per month (or local equivalent), billed monthly
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each monthly period and will be charged through your Apple ID account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period after cancellation; no partial-period refund is issued
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, the subscription begins billing automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends
- Refunds: All sales are final. Refund requests for Apple App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com as Calsanova does not directly process App Store refunds. Apple’s decision on refund requests is final
- Price changes: If we change the subscription price, you will be notified via the App Store and given the opportunity to consent to the new price; if you do not consent, your subscription will not auto-renew at the new price
6b. Marketplace Services
Calsanova’s marketplace lets you hire credentialed providers for one-on-one and group engagements across three tiers:
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN): Essentials $149/mo, Standard $249/mo, or Intensive $449/mo. RDs deliver clinical and therapeutic nutrition within their full scope of practice.
- Calsanova Coach (cncc): Essentials $79/mo, Standard $129/mo, or Intensive $199/mo. Coaches deliver performance-focused, non-clinical accountability + sport-specific fueling guidance.
- Specialist Coach: Essentials $129/mo, Standard $199/mo, or Intensive $299/mo. Calsanova Coaches who additionally hold a verified external credential (CSCS, NASM-CPT, ACE Health Coach, NBC-HWC, PN-L1/L2, ISSN-SNS, CISSN, ACSM-CPT/EP).
Marketplace engagements are real-time, person-to-person professional services offered between the user and their assigned provider. Per Apple App Store Review Guideline 3.1.3(d), payments for these real-time professional services are processed outside Apple’s in-app purchase system, via Stripe (a third-party payment processor) embedded in the Service.
Title protection.Calsanova Coaches and Specialist Coaches are not Registered Dietitians, Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS), or licensed nutritionists, and may not represent themselves as such. The credential type for every provider is displayed on their marketplace profile so members can make an informed choice. Coaches are bound by Calsanova’s non-clinical scope of practice and must refer clinical matters to an RD or other licensed healthcare provider.
Mandatory clinical referrals. Coaches must refer members to licensed healthcare providers in cases involving: cancer diagnosis or active treatment; pregnancy or lactation; eating disorder history or active eating disorders; diabetes requiring medication; kidney disease; cardiovascular disease requiring medication; and substance use disorder recovery (less than one year). Members in these categories should engage an RD tier, not a Coach tier.
Refunds and dispute resolution for marketplace engagements are governed by the individual provider’s policy as displayed at the time of booking. Calsanova facilitates payment but is not the service provider; payments to providers occur via Stripe Connect and provider payouts are tracked transparently in the provider’s analytics dashboard.
All marketplace providers are independent contractors, not Calsanova employees. Calsanova does not practice medicine or dietetics and does not assume liability for professional advice given by individual providers. Providers are credentialed by their respective certifying bodies (Commission on Dietetic Registration for RDs; Calsanova for cncc; the relevant external certifying body for Specialist tier add-ons) and are responsible for adhering to their professional codes of ethics and to Calsanova’s coach independent contractor agreement.
Calsanova’s marketplace is available in all 50 U.S. states. Specific state title-protection statutes may further restrict the language a Coach uses; the platform enforces these restrictions at the messaging-layer level.
6c. Apple Pay Processing
When you make a purchase via Apple Pay (currently used for marketplace coaching purchases), your payment information is processed directly by Apple and Stripe. Calsanova does not see, store, or have access to your full payment card number, security code, or bank account information. Apple Pay tokenization is handled per the Apple Payment Services Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Calsanova and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calsanova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
10. Changes To Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Apple Standard EULA Inheritance
For users who download the Calsanova iOS application from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Standard End User License Agreement that Apple requires for App Store applications:
- Parties: These Terms are concluded between you and Calsanova LLC, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content
- License scope: The license granted to you for the Calsanova iOS app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules
- Maintenance and support: Calsanova LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the Service
- Warranty: Calsanova LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the iOS application
- Product claims: Calsanova LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any of your or any third party’s claims relating to the Service, including but not limited to product liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation
- Intellectual property claims: If a third party claims that the Service or your possession and use of the Service infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Calsanova LLC, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim
- Third party beneficiary: Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third party beneficiary
13. Governing Law And Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal resolution: You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting legal@calsanova.com. We will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes within 30 days of receipt of notice
- Binding arbitration: If informal resolution fails, you and Calsanova LLC agree that any unresolved dispute shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Brevard County, Florida, in the English language
- Class action waiver: You and Calsanova LLC each waive the right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action against the other party, except where such waiver is unenforceable under applicable law
- Exceptions: Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an action in small claims court for disputes within that court’s jurisdiction, and either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights
- Opt-out: You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@calsanova.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms
If any provision of this section is held to be unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
